Is there a way to see the timestamp at which some text in the transcript was spoken in the episode audio?

Hi, Adam –

If you go to Tim’s YouTube page and find the video you want, you can click the three dots at the bottom-right of the video and choose to show the transcript. You can then find the passage you want and you’ll see the timestamp inside the YouTube video. Note, however, that timestamps on YouTube don’t always line up with timestamps on the blog, due to different editing for video and audio-only. You can also use the player embedded in the blog post to find the passage you want, but it could take longer. The timestamps in the player on the blog align with the timestamps in the Show Notes, which you can find further down the blog post page.

Hi, Dawn –

As episode #836 feature chapters from the audiobook of Tim’s book The 4-Hour Workweek, we don’t publish the transcript of those chapters, since they’re available to read in Tim’s book, available in most bookstores, at online booksellers, and hopefully at your local library.

Good to hear that Peterson is back. I LOVED the fact that he provided some very compelling push back to some of your beliefs/comments. That rarely happens in your interviews, and you dealt with it surprisingly well. Congratulations.

I think it might be a very worthwhile excercise to push the transcript of these podcasts, your books and digitze your enormous amount of notebooks in the context of a big LLM. And make you a twin. Please read thelongcontext article by Steven Johnsen,

Coyote

A card game by Tim Ferriss and Exploding Kittens

COYOTE is an addictive card game of hilarity, high-fives, and havoc! Learn it in minutes, and each game lasts around 10 minutes.

For ages 10 and up (though I’ve seen six-year olds play) and three or more players, think of it as group rock, paper, scissors with many surprise twists, including the ability to sabotage other players. Viral videos of COYOTE have been watched more than 250 million times, and it’s just getting started.

Unleash your trickster spirit with a game that’s simple to learn, hard to master, and delightfully different every time you play. May the wit and wiles be with you!

Keep exploring.
