The 4-Hour Chef Wins — Gourmand Awards "Best in the World"

Greetings from Paris!

I am ecstatic to announce that The 4-Hour Chef has won Best First Cookbook at the 18th Annual “Best in the World” Gourmand World Cookbook Awards (!!!).

26,000+ food and wine books are produced every year, and 8,000+ books from more than 100 countries participate in the Gourmand Awards.

I was at a loss for words on the platform above. I was more surprised than this (see :08 forward).

Thank you to everyone who helped make this book a reality. It was all worth it.

Thank you to my incredible family.

Thank you to my wonderfully supportive girlfriend.

Thank you to every one of you, my dear readers. You’re the reason I keep writing.

Woohoo!

Tim

Hey Tim

I have heard many times that taking Vitamin C helps burn fat. I am on SCD right now. I am 6’2″ and weigh 272 lbs (started at month ago at 287 lbs). I was thinking of getting powdered vitamin C. How much dosage would you recommend?

Hi Tim. I was wondering if you would be following up on your dietbet challenge? Where the prize was lunch in SF for first place? I have not heard anything about submissions yet.

Thanks

Congratulations!, being a first timer has it’s benefits 😉

Love all your work too.

If you do end up reading this yourself, I do have one question?

I am not bad at building businesses and can currently make about 20k a month and I am alway trying new ideas, but I can’t seem to get the right people around me? Too many get interested when starting out and end up being lazy and not doing the work required or just rely on me to do everything. Any pointers?

I dont have the courage to disappear just yet haha.

Tim,

I’m so happy for your success and glad to have a very small part of it. Keep it up! Your material rocks! (4HWW, 4HB and 4HC) Thanks for giving the small guys hope to make their dreams come true with laser focused action and testing.

Thanks again.

Such a great book to jump around in! I love all 3 books but this one is great visual and fun! I love to give it to friends as they have all been thrilled once they crack it open and jump through the selections. You deserve the Award!!!

WOW! Congratulations Tim, you deserve it! I never cooked before, nor fully understood the joy I could be experiencing in my mouth, until I started reading 4HC. I’m almost finished with “The Domestic” section of the book and feel like my life has changed. Never have I seen a cookbook perfect the art of teaching so well.

Tim, a few weeks ago I was browsing through all of your posts and saw one titled: “Go from writing 2,000 words a day to 10,000,” something along those lines. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate this blog. Was it taken down from a lack of credibility? Your work has been great my friend, a great inspiration to say the very least. Keep it up, and keep doing big things. Thanks for the passion, and commitment, that you have put into all of your work. There for a while I thought I was going to have to convince the people of the world to think in a new way. Lucky for me you have already done that.

Dear Tim:

Your have been an amazing guider after I read your books. I study only 3 days every week from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and am the Top 2 student in my prestigious university KUL. Thx to you.

I have questions about study and implementing the steps in the book “The 4-hour work week”. What can I do to make you feel great and repond my question? Your help means a great deal to me. 🙂

Hey Tim!

Congratulations, another well-deserved achievement. I loved the book (actually found my tweet to you on your site under ‘4-Hour Chef’ hype, which made my day, ha thanks for that.)

You’ve inspired me to start blogging, pursue a new rich lifestyle, and carry on with my joy of learning plenty new things. 4-hour chef has properly helped me stick to plans. Using stakes is my personal favorite for new habit formation.

Cheers Tim! Keep up the great work!

Congrats Tim. You defiantly desire lots of recognition on your books. I really enjoy reading your materials.( I have read all three books and, I am subscribed to your blog, twitter, etc. NO not a stalker, I think your really cool!) Your writings are very inspiring but, most of all I like putting to work the things that you cover in your books. It is some of the most condensed, informative and well-rounded material that I have ever read. Thanks and keep up the good work. Keep safe and healthy along your way.

Congrats! We all know you put in a lot of hard work. I was checking out your notes/edits in the 4HC torrent pack yesterday — the attention to detail is what makes your writing great. You deserve it.

Congratulations! I was going to say that I could have told everyone months ago that it was the best first cookbook, but then I remembered that the Gourmand awards have a little more sway… But seriously, this book is amazing! A fitting end to the Four Hour Trilogy. 🙂

I love this whole concept and truly believe it works. It just one thing,

I’m one of those people who made a huge mistake in business and loss everything. Bank accts. home, etc. was left with about $100 in savings.

Now I want to start all over but funds are so tight, just can’t seem to get above water. I have a website with one product. but it slow because everything takes cash.

One day I would like someone to write a book on how to really start over

and they have been successful at it. All the books I read tell you how to

take your retirement money or your saving and go from there.

I have to take small amount of money ($200-$500) to make things work after I pay what little bills I have to keep cover over my head and eat.

So, trying to get VA’s and set up inventory has been slow. Tim, I know you are not reading this but if you could have your VA to sent me a email maybe you have some advise!!

Congrats, you deserve it. I haven’t been this excited about a cook book in awhile. Hope you keep making more wonderful books. You’re one of a handful of non-fiction authors that writes anything meaningful. Thanks and good luck in the future!

Congratulations. I’m still reading my copy, cover to cover. I have to say its a first with a cookbook for me. I’m usually looking at pictures and picking out what I like and reading those recipes. I highly suspect I’m not unusual either. I also enjoy the fact that your book comes off like manual for cooking. Great stuff.

Congrats Tim! Very well deserved. I’m a 23 yr old “bro”-type and show all my bros and girlfriends my first cookbook. Bet there’s not too many other cook books out there that can claim that.

Also congrats to myself and everyone else who bought the book, you chose the best one!

Hi Tim!

I want to buy the four hour chef in english (I live in Spain), but amazon.co.uk won´t send it to Spain.

I already have the four hour work week in spanish, the extended edition in english and the four hour body in english, I want to buy your last book but I can´t, what shall I do?

Your books changed my life, if you send me a signed copy of your last book I´ll be the happiest man in Spain! And you´ll have a Tourist guide in Seville anytime!

Thanks!

Great book Tim!

Can you PLEASE also let it be translated into Swedish? Or at least translate to metric measurement system (liters, kilos, meters etc). Much easier for us Europeans to follow 🙂

Keep up the amazing work!
